Technology changes incredibly fast. It can be especially challenging for small businesses to keep up with, let alone build a business around rapidly changing technology. What’s the alternative? Interesting quote (now some 10 years old) from Jeff Bezos:
“I very frequently get the question what's going to change in the next 10 years. And that is an interesting question, it's a very common one. I almost never get the question what’s not going to change in the next 10 years. And I submit to you that that second question is actually the most important of the two.”
Instead of devoting too many resources to chasing what is constantly changing (which in some cases may be necessary to some extent), can you focus more on building a business model around what is consistent, around what is likely to remain the same?
